Small Town Hockey

Another fun Mad Hatters game. If you don't know who they are. They are the 3rd generation of the minor minor hockey team in Danbury CT. The games are always fun to watch and not necessarily for the hockey. When my 9 year old daugher laughs and yells "dog pile" you know we are having good time. Who needs boys :)

Christmas 2008

Christmas this year was great, despite the economy and having to cut back a bit. Santa was good to all my girls as well as myself. Joanna and her daddy both got shiny new cameras. Joanna has become quite a photographer like her grampa, she also likes to be in the pictures just as much (also like her grampa). Small Town Mommy seemed very surprised to get her soda stream. She also got a cool GPS and a pasta maker for all to enjoy. Libby was very happy to get her diamond pengiun necklace and china doll. All that and some cool games for the Wii made Santa a very popular guy.
I think the best part though was getting together with everyone Christmas day. Anne as always is a wonderfull cook and had lots of tasty treats for all. Dessert is also fun with 3 different flavors of cheesecake to go around. A very nice holiday to end what was just an ok type of year.
I hope you all had a wonderfull holiday as well.
Happy Holidays

Snow Days

As many of you know we had a good size storm this past weekend. It was the first real snow of the season. So our weekend was filled with shoveling, sled riding and hot chocolate. I discovered even though the snow was up to Hamlet's err boys he enjoyed it very much. The girls also got crafty and made a gingerbread house. I discovered that a gingerbread house is the one thing that duck tape cannot fix. This weekend also gave Anne and I an opportunity to finish up our holiday shopping. :)
The season is upon us!  Enjoy!
